Terms and Conditions: Kajiado Multi-transporters Sacco E-commerce Platform

1. Introduction

By accessing and using this website, you confirm your understanding of the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you shall not use this website. The platform is operated by Kajiado Multi-transporters Sacco Ltd for the benefit of its members and registered vendors.

2. Eligibility and Registration

  • Member Status: While the platform is accessible to the public, specific financial products (e.g., Tyre Loans at 1% p.a.) are strictly reserved for verified Sacco members in good standing.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • Currency: All prices are listed in Kenya Shillings (KSh) and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment Methods: We accept M-Pesa (Paybill 400222, Account 344198#) and Sacco-approved credit facilities.

  • Verification: Orders are only processed once payment is confirmed or credit approval is granted by the Sacco credit committee.

4. Delivery and Pick-up

  • Logistics: Delivery timelines vary based on location within Kajiado County and nationally.

  • Collection: Members may opt for "Store Pickup" at designated Sacco depots. You must present the transaction SMS and a valid ID upon collection.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Defective Goods: In line with Kenyan consumer protection laws, items such as tyres or spare parts can be returned within 48 hours if they are found to be mechanically defective or do not match the description.

  • Condition: Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

  • No-Return Items: Electrical components and fitted tyres are generally non-returnable unless a manufacturing defect is proven.

6. Tyre Loan & Credit Facility

  • Approval: Applying for a tyre loan via the platform does not guarantee approval. Approval is subject to the Sacco’s lending criteria and available member shares.

  • Interest: Default interest rates are set at 1% p.a., but the Sacco reserves the right to adjust terms based on the member’s credit history.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kajiado Multi-transporters Sacco Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including vehicle downtime or loss of profit, resulting from the use of products purchased on this platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of the Republic of Kenya, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Co-operative Societies Act.
